Cross Country Trip (June-July 2011)

The first portion of our trip included driving from Seattle, WA to part of the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. From there, we went to Pendleton, OR (of course we went to Pendelton Mills and took the tour). After that, we stopped in Baker City, OR for THE.BEST.PIZZA. any of us have ever had (thank you Paizano's Pizza!).

After we dragged ourselves away from Paizano's, we made our way to Twin Falls, ID. We paid a visit to Shoshone Falls before heading to Rexburg, ID, and we crossed the Snake River multiple times. Once in Rexburg, we took some time to explore the HUGE Mormon community that has made its home there, complete with an enormously beautiful LDS Temple. Then we stopped to explore Hell's Half Acre Lava Fields, ID.
