Trip to Alabama

We went to Alabama to visit Robert's dad. We were only there for two days, but we managed to go to the "Redneck Riviera" (Dauphin Island). While on the island, we went to the Estuarium/Sea Lab, Fort Gaines (the outside, anyway), and for a dip in the Gulf. And, Savannah even had 18-month-old Aiden to keep her company, along with a sweet little dog who wanted to come home with Savannah so much that she jumped in our suitcase! On top of that, we paid a visit to Robert's lifelong friend, who is a Gold Shield Sergeant on the Mobile police force!

We had a great time and want to thank everyone for their hospitality!
