Since we have had Spring-like weather, we've been very busy playing outdoors. We've also been busy with things like attending a concert performed by the Evansville Philharmonic and two trips to Middle Kentucky, including a theater production by the Lexington Children's Theater. Of course, we're still busy with our frequent trips to the libraries for story times and art class, along with a weekly class at the zoo. Additionally, Savannah stays active with her dance and tumbling classes--she just graduated from her first swimming session at the University of Southern Indiana! On top of that, she receives weekly Mandarin Chinese tutelage and we go on frequent field trips with our homeschool friends, including a stinky trip to the Water Treatment Facility! Really, however, we spend a good bit of our time snuggled in bed reading books (usually 2-3 hours a day)!
Here are some recent pictures, including a few from a spontaneous 24-hour girls' road trip to Memphis, TN:
Savannah took this picture of a friend who met us in Memphis from Dallas.
We ate lunch on the banks of the mighty Mississippi River.
Yes, we had Memphis BBQ (Jim Neely's World Famous Interstate BBQ)
My most favorite shot, for now anyway!
Savannah with a Tiger Salamander at the zoo.
Brain Freeze!
Savannah's Andrew!
If you could only see the "Lock Up Your Daughters" shirt he's sporting under the jacket...
Savannah wore just about every clippie she owns:
Checkers, anyone?
